UBC Collaborative Research Agreement In April 2016, the Company entered into a collaborative research agreement (“CRA”) with the University of British Columbia (“UBC”) and the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority in the amount of C$787,500, with the Company’s Chief Scientific Officer, as principal investigator at the UBC. In January 2022, the UBC CRA was amended to extend the project for an additional three years, in December 2024, for an additional 1 year, and in February 2026, for an additional one year. Aggregate funding under the agreement was increased to a total of C$5,830,000 through February 2027. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2026, the Company made cash payments of $284,480 and $577,400, respectively. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2025, the Company made cash payments of $144,720 and $283,600, respectively. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2026, the Company incurred costs of $140,980, and $289,280, respectively. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2025, the Company incurred costs of $144,720 and $283,307, respectively. These costs are included in research and development expenses in the accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated statements of operations. Certain members of management and the Board of Directors participated in the January 2026 PIPE. See Note 6 for additional information regarding the January 2026 PIPE. |
